一、高頻考點(diǎn)

1.條件句中的虛擬語(yǔ)氣

在書面語(yǔ)中，如果虛擬條件從句中有were, had或should，可以把if省掉，而把上述這幾個(gè)詞置于從句主語(yǔ)之前，構(gòu)成倒裝結(jié)構(gòu)。

If you had come earlier, you would have met him.

→Had you come earlier, you would have met him.

2.在It is (high/about) time that…句型中，從句中的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞一般用“過(guò)去式或should+動(dòng)詞原形”來(lái)表示虛擬語(yǔ)氣的表述形式，但should不能被省略。

3.當(dāng)條件狀語(yǔ)從句表示的行為和主句表示的行為所發(fā)生的時(shí)間不一致時(shí)，在英語(yǔ)中通常稱為“錯(cuò)綜時(shí)間條件句”。其主從句謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的形式則要根據(jù)其所表 示的時(shí)間做出相應(yīng)的調(diào)整以對(duì)應(yīng)其所表示的動(dòng)作行為。如：If we had started earlier, we would catch the first train.

4.名詞性從句中用于表示勸告、要求、命令、堅(jiān)持、建議、主張、決定等意義的詞等構(gòu)成的兩類從句中，從句的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞常用“(should)+動(dòng)詞原形”來(lái)表示虛擬語(yǔ)氣的表述形式。

She demanded (that) the paper (should) be rewritten.

注：如suggest, insist用于其本意“暗示、表明”、“堅(jiān)持認(rèn)為”，且后面從句中的動(dòng)作已經(jīng)發(fā)生時(shí)，使用陳述語(yǔ)氣。
