語法課程的教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì),難就難在語法知識(shí)點(diǎn)的理解上。如果這一點(diǎn)弄清楚了,那么對(duì)于語法課程的教學(xué)過程設(shè)計(jì),對(duì)于科班出生的學(xué)生來講,也就是十分容易的事情。說具體一點(diǎn),就是要明白對(duì)于這個(gè)語法點(diǎn),教學(xué)過程中要該講些什么內(nèi)容,不該講什么內(nèi)容。比如,在講到形容詞最高級(jí)的時(shí)候,在授課過程中我們首先要明白,形容詞的最高級(jí)會(huì)涉及到什么內(nèi)容,有形容詞最高級(jí)如何變化,變化規(guī)律如何,以及最高級(jí)的功能是什么,怎么使用等這么幾個(gè)版塊兒。其次,我們要從這些語法點(diǎn)中去篩選,哪些應(yīng)該講,哪些不應(yīng)該講。畢竟我們的面試時(shí)間基本都在10分鐘左右,所以我們是講不了太多的知識(shí)點(diǎn)的。與其求全,倒不如求專,這應(yīng)該是我們?cè)谡Z法課程的設(shè)計(jì)中可以借鑒的原則。所以就拿形容詞最高級(jí)的這些考點(diǎn),我們只能選擇其中的部分知識(shí)點(diǎn)去講解。

那么我們?cè)賮硭伎家幌?,?duì)于這么幾個(gè)版塊兒的形容詞最高級(jí)語法點(diǎn),我們講解變化規(guī)則還是講解它的功能和使用方法呢?其實(shí)這兩者都可以,但是有兩點(diǎn),首先我們要根據(jù)不同的考試形式來選擇,如果是教師資格考試,那么,兩個(gè)角度人選其一都可以;因?yàn)榻處熧Y格考試試題上面不會(huì)提供太多信息,那這個(gè)內(nèi)容就可以根據(jù)學(xué)生自己擅長的部分去設(shè)計(jì)。如果是教師招聘考試,那么我們還是建議大家講解功能和使用方法。首先課本當(dāng)中的內(nèi)容(人教版為例)大部分都是練習(xí)題目,所以重點(diǎn)在于強(qiáng)調(diào)使用方法;其次,如果講最高級(jí)的變化規(guī)則,再去將課本上的內(nèi)容,時(shí)間太短,內(nèi)容太多,不一定能講完,講細(xì)致;最后,如果講了規(guī)則,有可能會(huì)出現(xiàn)講解不到位,反而出現(xiàn)問題,給考試帶來不利。所以,大家在做語法課程的教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)的時(shí)候,就應(yīng)該認(rèn)真去分析,我們應(yīng)該要講的具體的內(nèi)容是什么,然后根據(jù)內(nèi)容再做教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)。

接下來我們就舉一個(gè)實(shí)際的,也是我們語法考試中經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)的比較難的語法點(diǎn)同位語從句為例,來看看語法課程的教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)應(yīng)該如何做。

同位語從句的語法點(diǎn)首先會(huì)設(shè)計(jì)到如下內(nèi)容:什么是同位語從句?同位語從句的功能是什么?同位語從句的引導(dǎo)詞有哪些?同位語從句和定語從句之間的區(qū)別是什么?這些基本就是在設(shè)計(jì)到同位語從句的時(shí)候,會(huì)設(shè)計(jì)到的重點(diǎn)的語法知識(shí),那么我們就應(yīng)做好判斷,如果要在十分鐘內(nèi)講完這么多知識(shí)是不可能,所以我們就要做好取舍,要么去講同位語從句的基本知識(shí),包括定義,功能和用法;要么去講更深的知識(shí),比如它的引導(dǎo)詞,或者去講定語從句和同位語從句之間的區(qū)別。那么下面就是一個(gè)講解基本知識(shí)為主的教案設(shè)計(jì),希望通過實(shí)例,能啟發(fā)大家理解對(duì)語法課程的教學(xué)過程設(shè)計(jì)。

Step 1 Warming-up

Ask students to read the following tongue twister firstly, and then ask them what kind of grammatical phenomenon they can find.

Now the question comes to their minds, “How many sheets could a sheet slitter slit if a sheet slitter could slit sheets?” (如果裁紙機(jī)能裁紙的話,一個(gè)裁紙機(jī)能裁多少張紙呢?)

I will lead them to think about the relation between the words “question” and the sentence in the quotation marks. Then come to the conclusion: the sentence in the question mark is appositive of the word “question”. And today we’re going to learn the appositive clause.

Step 2 Presentation

1. Show some sentences on the PPT, and ask students to discuss the function of the underlined part in groups of 4.

We heard the news that our team had won.

They were worried over the fact that you were sick.

The news that we are having a holiday tomorrow is not true.

I can understand their eagerness that you should be the main speaker.

After they finished, I will invite group leaders to share their views. And come to the conclusion that the function of appositive clause is a supplementary specification to a noun, this kind of clause equals to a noun. This clause always appears after the related noun closely.

Step 3 Practice

Ask students to make sentences by using appositive clause.

Step 4 Production

Read the following sentences and identify what kind of clause it is.

I have no idea when they will come.

I’ll never forget the days when I lived there.

I have a dream that one day all roads will be made plain.

We hold this truth to be self-evident that all men are created equal.

Some people hold the opinion that the Internet is a curse.

Step 5 Summary and homework

Ask students to make a summary and ask them to use appositive clause to write their diary as much as possible.
